Sugar Maple Floor for Sucre' Patisserie
"Something Sweet?" Triumph holds a treat,
a few minutes before the store's opening New Years Eve.
The store's owners, Punky Egan and Randall Reinke, wanted to use local wood for the floor in an old building they remodeled on Madison's Capitol Square.
A Sugar Maple floor, featuring the tap holes & stains from a sugaring operation, fit their vision perfectly.

All the character of the whole tree is featured in this flooring.
The lumber was dried with Solar Power in our Solar Cycle Kilns
The Flooring was manufactured in a remodeled dairy barn near Spring Green.

Different width boards were used for efficient use of the logs, as well as an interesting appearance.
