The GreenSquared Building Association is starting a series of projects to provide the River Valley School District many benefits from their School Forests.

Monday, April 14th, 2008   Jim Birkemeier and Alex Greene met at the school forest with District Administrator Jamie Benson, and Brad Hutnik of the Wisconsin DNR.

A DNR Forestry crew will be marking several dozen dead and dying pine on April 15th.  The GreenSquared Building Association will be harvesting these trees soon, and the logs will be processed at the "Using Local Wood" Demonstration Days" at Timbergreen Farm on April 26th.
